meet KRISTA
Entrepreneur. Podcaster + Broadcaster. Lifelong Hoops Devotee.
A Montana native through and through, Krista was born and raised in Great Falls and now calls Missoula home. Her love for basketball began on a slanted driveway on the east side of Great Falls, shooting hoops with a rubber Larry Bird basketball and dreaming big. Her childhood bedroom — painted green and yellow and lovingly named the “Bird’s Nest” — was plastered with newspaper clippings from the Great Falls Tribune chronicling the players and moments that inspired her.
From tagging along to her dad’s city league games at the Heisey Center (where she first heard the F word) to practicing Steve Alford shooting drills with folding chairs as defenders on the driveway, Krista was all in. She set her sights early on one dream: becoming a Lady Griz.
That dream became reality. After attending a legendary Montana vs. Tennessee matchup during her senior year of high school — with over 8,000 fans packed into Dahlberg Arena — she could hardly believe she’d soon be playing on Rob Selvig’s legendary court.
From 1995 – 2000, Krista suited up for the Lady Griz, going 95 – 23, winning four Big Sky Conference Championships, and making four NCAA Tournament appearances. She earned both a BA and MA in Political Science from the University of Montana, then played a year of professional basketball in Copenhagen, Denmark for the Virum Basketball Club.
Her post-playing career has been just as dynamic. Krista is the founder of KEO Services, LLC, a custom gifting and packaging company launched in 2012. She also launched Krista Redpath Media, combining her love of storytelling and basketball into a thriving broadcast and podcast career.
A seasoned color analyst for women’s collegiate basketball, Krista has spent over a decade calling games on ESPN platforms and the Scripps Sports Network. She has provided commentary for every Cat-Griz matchup since 2016 and has called every Big Sky Conference Tournament game since 2015 — more than 135 games in total.
As host of The Krista Redpath Show, she brings the game, the athletes, and their stories into the studio with insight, energy, and heart.
